1)    Peaches and Cream Oatmeal Smoothie

2)    Berry and Banana Delight

Berries are pumped with anti-oxidants and vitamin C, so are bananas and apples. Together they create a delicious and super nutritious breakfast smoothie that boosts metabolism and helps with weight-loss.

If you want to enhance the weight-loss and nutrition factor further, add some green veggies like spinach –the berries will conceal the bitterness of the spinach, you won’t taste it at all.

Put a banana, ½ a cup of all types of berries, 1 cup of sliced apple and 1 cup of almond milk in a blender. Mix it all together until you get the consistency you’re looking for.


3)    Chocolate Banana Smoothie

Chocolate lovers will enjoy this one. It’s filled with protein that gives you a kick of energy in the morning and it’s scrumptious at the same time. To make the smoothie extra cold and thick, chop up the banana into little chunks and freeze it.

Put the frozen banana chunks, 10 almonds, 1 cup of almond milk and 1 cup of Greek yogurt into a blender.  Where’s the chocolate? Well, you don’t really put in chocolate in the smoothie, you put a tablespoon of cocoa powder. To enhance the flavor, even more, you can add a teaspoon of coconut flakes, strawberries, mint and even a spoonful of peanut butter.

Remember, weight-loss doesn’t come easy. It requires a strict commitment to diet and exercise from your side. People assume that by not eating, they are putting on fewer calories without thinking how their metabolism is being affected.

Metabolism slows down significantly when your body is in a state of starvation. As a result, you don’t lose calories.
